Description

The Horseware LED Red Light Therapy Pet Coat is ideal for dogs, and other small animals. Its 180 LEDs use a combination of different light wavelengths to target both the dermal layer and deep tissues. 660nm red light targets the surface, while 850nm infrared light penetrates deeper to reach soft tissue.

Flexible, sturdy wipe-clean PVC outer. Built-in battery with USB charger for easy, cord-free use. Chest and belly velcro straps for adjustability and secure fit. Features 15 minute timer and pulse function.

How do I use the Horseware LED wraps, pad or poll cap?

Each Horseware LED product will come with an instruction booklet outlining proper use and care.

As a general guide each LED wrap, pad or rug has three settings within each program and an automatic timer to turn off treatment after 15 minutes.

To use with solid light (Green Program):

1. Press the on/off button once (the button will turn green) to turn the Red Light therapy on.

2. Press the on/off button a second time (it will turn red) to turn on both the Red Light and Infrared Light.

3. Press a third time to turn on only the Infrared Light. Caution - the interior of the product may not look as though it is on, however, the infrared is on if the green on/off button is lit.

4. Press the on/off button a fourth time and the product will turn off and the button will no longer be lit.

To use the pulse feature (Blue Program):

1. Press the on/off button once quickly and a second time and hold for 3 seconds to turn on blinking function. The on/off button will turn blue when the blinking program is on.
On the initial setting the blinking feature will begin with only Red Light.

2. Press the on/off button again to turn on both the Red & Infrared light in blinking mode.

3. Press the on/off button a third time to turn on only the Infrared Light in blinking mode.

4. Press the on/off button a fourth time to turn off and button will no longer be lit.

When the 15 minute cycle has finished the on/off button will no longer be lit.

When do I use the red, infrared, or a combination of these in the solid or pulse programs?

Always consult with your medical veterinary professional prior to any treatment program.

Additionally we recommend introducing any new product with caution to ensure your horse or pet is comfortable with the physical product.

Can I use Horseware LED Therapy products as wound care?

Horseware recommends that you always consult with a medical veterinary professional before beginning any treatment regime. LED products should NOT be used on open wounds.

How do I clean my Horseware LED product?

Please refer to each product guide for cleaning instructions. As a general guide, gently wipe with a dry brush or cloth. If the pixels are dirty, a small amount of rubbing alcohol can be used on a cloth to clean the LED pixel directly. Do not submerge in water.

Do the Horseware LED Products make noise?

The LED Red Light Therapy pads, wraps and poll cap are silent and produce no noise, making them great for sensitive or nervous horses.

How do I charge my Horseware LED product

Your LED product can be charged with the USB-C charging cord and plug provided. Simply plug the cord into the port near the on/off button and the opposite end into any USB-C transformer or port.

Once plugged in and charging the button will turn red. When fully charged the button will turn off.
