Cork Farm Equestrian Ltd and our affiliates provide access to the Cork Farm Equestrian website. Please read these terms and conditions carefully, if you do not agree with them, do not use this website or make a purchase from us. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. By using the Cork Farm Equestrian website you signify your agreement to be bound by these terms.
We will endeavour to provide uninterrupted, error free access to the website, however this cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the Internet. Occasionally your access may be suspended or restricted to allow updates, upgrades or repairs, we will try to ensure that this is for the shortest time possible and apologise for any inconvenience.
Our Contract (Order)
The information we seek from you when placing an order is for billing and delivery purposes only or for contacting you if we have a query. When placing an order to purchase goods from Cork Farm Equestrian you will be sent an email confirming receipt of the order. A contract between you and Cork Farm Equestrian will only take place once the order has been accepted & processed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure the details supplied are correct. Cork Farm Equestrian cannot be held responsible for issues with delivery should the information supplied be incorrect or incomplete.
These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales. You agree, as do we, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
All products offered for sale by Cork Farm Equestrian are priced in Pounds Sterling (GBP) & include UK VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable. Occasionally, despite our best endeavours some products may display an incorrect price. If the correct price is lower than that promoted we will always charge you the lower amount, process a refund for the difference & send you the product. If the correct price is higher, we will either contact you to advise you & request payment before dispatch or cancel the order, process a full refund & notify you accordingly. Any displayed conversion rates in to other currencies are approximate only. As exchange rates are constantly changing we advise you contact our card provider or PayPal to enquire about their exact exchange rates on the date of purchase. Please note that any displayed price is not inclusive of any postal charges. For Overseas shipments - any customs or import duties due when your package reaches its destination country will be your responsibility.
We will contact you at various stages throughout the dispatch process by email to advise you on the status of your order. If your order is overdue please contact us for an update.
Most items are delivered Monday to Friday unless a Saturday or Sunday delivery has been specifically requested. If you need an item urgently or by a certain date we request that you contact us prior to purchase to check stock levels & for confirmation of any additional associated costs.
When your parcel arrives at your delivery address a signature may be required for higher value items to acknowledge receipt. For lower value items no signature will be required but a delivery confirmation will be supplied to confirm proof of delivery to your address. Please ensure you supply an address where someone will be available to take delivery of your order.
Cork Farm Equestrian is pleased to work in partnership with Royal Mail, DHL & Parcelforce. Please note that for some higher value items, a signature will be required on receipt. If no one is available at your delivery address at the time the item is being delivered the carrier may leave the parcel in a safe place for you or if no safe place is available a card will be left giving you appropriate contact details for your local depot so you can rearrange delivery or collect the item in person. If you have requested Express, Next Day or Saturday Delivery & are not in to accept the delivery, Cork Farm Equestrian cannot be held responsible & will not offer compensation in any form for failed delvieries. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is present to accept your delivery.
All damages or any shortfall of items need to be reported to us by email including photos of any packaging & contents within 48 hours of receipt in order that we can investigate further & make any subsequent claims with our carriers.
Highlands, Islands & Remote areas: Small items will be sent with Royal Mail. For larger items or high value items a courier delivery is used. The following addresses are classed as Highlands, Islands & Remote areas: Isle of Wight, Isle of Mann, Channel Islands, Northern Scotland, Scottish Highlands & Northern Ireland.
International Delivery: We will always try to send items will be sent with Royal Mail. For larger items or high value items a courier delivery is used. Please note that for buyers outside of the UK the International Delivery Agent may contact you to settle fees levied by your countries customs office. These fees may vary & there is no possible way for us to calculate these before the item reaches your country. These fees are payable directly to your local customs office & it is your responsibility to settle them. We do NOT in any circumstances cover these costs. For orders outside of the EU please note that we do not refund VAT in conjunction with our very low or Free delivery options. Our delivery costings already take into account the VAT element & these funds are used to cover the cost of your delivery. Should you wish for the VAT to be removed from your purchase this is possible but we would need to invoice seperately for the actual cost of delivery.
We try to keep the stock displayed on our website as accurate as possible however owing to several different sales platforms occasionally an item showing in stock may have recently gone out of stock. If this is the case we will inform you immediately with an expected delivery date. All delivery dates are estimates & are subject to availability. Should one or more items in the same order be out of stock the entire order will be held until the whole order is ready. If you would like in stock items to be sent before the entire order is ready an additional postage payment may be required.
Special Order Items
All items ordered specially, such as those ordered specifically for you, sourced outside our usual stock, those with personalisation, new saddles or custom made body protectors (538-0028) are non-returnable. You will be notified if your item is being ordered in for you or this information may already be advised within the description of the item. Cancellation must be made within 24 hours of placing the order & this MUST be done by email to email@example.com. Until you have received an email from us confirming your cancellation the order is still considered as active. Once the 24 hour cancellation window has passed your item will be specially ordered from the manufacturer & cancellation, refund or exchange is not possible for any reason unless the product received is faulty.
CREDIT or DEBIT CARD - A fast way to pay for immediate dispatch (stock dependant). We accept major credit and debit cards via telephone on 01233 740817. Transactions are shown in Pounds Sterling. Do not email your card details to us. No responsibility can be taken for security if you provide your details in this way. Card fraud is illegal and will always lead to prosecution. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties. When placing your order over the phone we can ship only to the registered card address.

When placing your order via PayPal we can ship only to the registered PayPal address so please check this information before sending your payment.
CHEQUE - Please allow 10 working days from receipt of your cheque for your payment to clear. We will email you to confirm the date of receipt. Cheques should be made payable to Cork Farm Equestrian.
GIFT VOUCHER - We will require the unique voucher number & any additional payment if the order exceeds the value of the voucher. Vouchers can only be redeemed via email or via the website & a scanned copy of the voucher may be required. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless the voucher itself states otherwise. Vouchers are non transferrable & cannot be exchanged for cash or hold any cash value.

Offers & Promotions
Please note that when participating in our offers or promotions, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions. Multi-buy promotions including buy one get one free and 3 for 2 offers will only apply to the items stated and must be purchased within one transaction. Offers may only be available for certain sizes or colours so please check with us that the size & colour you require is included in a promotion before placing your order.
Some promotions are dependent on stock levels & are only offered on a certain amount of stock. In these circumstances stock will be allocated on a first come first served basis & should the stock run out the promotion will end. Any monies will be refunded in full should this happen or you will be offered an alternative item or the same item at the usual price.

Price Match Guarantee
How does Cork Farm Equestrian Price-Match Guarantee work?
If you find a lower price from any equestrian retailer on a new identical item, simply provide verifiable proof of the lower price and we do our best to match it at the time of making your purchase. Cork Farm Equestrian does not price match on sale, clearance or past seasonal items where discounts have been applied by other companies, or on delivery charges. Cork Farm Equestrian will not price match on items found on auction sites such as Ebay or Amazon. Price match purchases must be made by email to email@example.com. Cork Farm Equestrian reserves the right to withdraw the price match offer without explanation should the verification be unsatisfactory or unreasonable.
Which items does Cork Farm Equestrian Price Match?
Almost everything we sell. The item must be identical, including model number, size & colour. The item must be in stock and available to purchase at that price from another equestrian retailer & we reserve the right to verify. We do not price match some personalised or special order items.
Cork Farm Equestrian Discount Codes are redeemable for use online only. You must enter the code at the point of checking out your order. Voucher codes cannot be applied to orders retrospectively. You may use your code against any applicable product on our website except those in the Sale section of the site.
Saddle Fitting Services
Our fully qualified saddle fitting specialist Jane Scrannage is available for appointments Monday-Friday throughout Kent. To make an appointment or to discuss your horses requirements in more detail please call Jane on 07423 057386 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your Saddle Fitting
Please ensure that your horse is in, clean & ready for your appointment at the allotted time to maximise the time Jane is able to spend with you. If your instructor is an intergral part of your riding please ensure they are also present at your fitting. Horses will need to be assessed in all gaits. If you are unable to do this please ensure a competent rider is present to carry this out on your behalf.
Changing your appointment time
Appointments can be cancelled or postponed without charge up to 48 hours before your appointment. If you have had to cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice no cancellation fee will be charged should you rebook a new appintment within 6 weeks of your original cancelled appointment.
Saddle Fitting Fees
Saddle fitting, checks & adjustments in our local area start from just £40.00.
Janes fee structure is as follows:

Fees are payable at your fitting by cash, PayPal or bank transfer directly to Jane. Discounts are available for multiple horses within the same appointment. Fees are inclusive & cover the costs of travel, time & expert advice. Appointments further afield are available on request. Please contact us for pricing if you are outside of our local area. If a brand new saddle is purchased at your fitting with a value in excess of £1,500 your fitting fee will be deducted from the price of your saddle. If possible your new saddle will be left with you at your appointment following payment. In certain cases a saddle may need to be ordered in for you especially. In these instances a non refundable deposit may be charged but this would be deducted from the price of your saddle once payment in full is made before delivery. Your saddle will then be delivered to you as soon as possible either via courier or by Jane herself by appointment if fitting/adjustment is required.

Second Hand Saddles
We are happy to accept Returns & Exchanges within 7 calendar days for second hand saddles only. Second hand saddles must be returned fully cleaned & in the same condition in which they were received. If your saddle is recevied back in an unsatisfactory condition we reserve the right to make a charge for depreciation or to refuse your return.

Brand New Saddles
New Saddles are non refundable unless faulty. If a fault should be present within the manufacturers warranty preiod a repair or replacement will be offered. Please also see our Special Order Items section above.
Exchanges & Returns for Online Purchases
We are happy to accept Online Returns & Exchanges received within 30 calendar days (14 calendar days for sale items, exchanged items or items purchased using discount codes) in line with current UK Distance Selling Regulations. Returns accepted from UK customers only in Brand New, Unused, Unmarked condition complete with original packaging intact. Due to Health & Safety Guidelines once your item has been in contact with a horse it cannot be returned. Please use a clean tea towel or similar between the horse & the item if an item is to be tried on. If your item is recevied back in an unsatisfactory condition or has been in contact with a horse we reserve the right to send it back to you at your cost or charge a restoking fee. If an item has been specially made for you or ordered in for you it cannot be returned unless faulty. Return postage costs & the safe return of items are the sole responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned to us following your refusal of delivery the cost of the return will be deducted from any refund. We ask that items are returned using a trackable recorded service requiring a signature plus the correct amount of insurance covering the item. We cannot be held responsible for items being returned if they are damaged in transit on the way back to us or if we do not receive your item. If your item was offered with free shipping the actual cost of shipping the item to you could be deducted from any refund. For exchanges there will be an additional postage payment levied for the shipping of your new exchanged item as your initial was offered with free shipping included in the original price.
Please note the following cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty: Personalised and Special order items, DVD's, CD's, Videos, Underwear, Riding Helmets, New Saddles and Computer Software. Personalised and Special order items cannot be cancelled once the order has been processed.

Should you wish to cancel your order for any reason cancellation can usually be made within 12 hours of placing your order for most items. Cancellation must be requested by email to email@example.com. Until you have received an email response from us confirming your cancellation the order is still considered as active. If you have not received an email response from us within 24 hours please contact us immediately by telephone on 01233 740817. It is not possible to cancel your order once your item has been dispatched.
Fair Wear & Tear Guarantee
Products are supplied with a manufacturers guarantee/warranty starting from the date of receipt. The term of the guarantee/warranty will vary depending on the manufacturer & range from 6-36 months providing products are used in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. Should you be dissatisfied with your item we require photographic evidence & in some cases goods will be returned to the manufacturer for inspection. Please allow up to 60 days for an exchange or refund. This is in addition to your statutory rights.
Due to the Health and Safety regulations and the hygienic problems involved with the inspection of Footwear and Horse Clothing, we are unable to handle and inspect any item unless it is clean and dry (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974).
Please note: For Hygiene reasons, Underwear is non-returnable.
Goods ordered from Cork Farm Equestrian for delivery outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes which will be levied once the parcel reaches its destination country. Any charges for customs must be paid by you, we have no control over these and do not know what they may be as customs policies vary from country to country. Contact your local customs officer for full details and regulations.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge. The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK. Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill. Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites. Cork Farm Equestrian Ltd is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us. Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below: Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
Cork Farm Equestrian offers a Bit Bank service that lets you try out our bits on your horse before committing to purchase. Due to time constraints & shipping costs this service is available to UK customers only. Bits are sold with a 30 day trial period & if unsuitable must be returned to us within 30 days from the date of purchase. We strive to send new bits to our customers each time; however due to stock levels this is not always possible. This means that you may receive a used bit to trial. If you do receive a previously trialled bit & you are happy with it you can choose to keep the bit or you can return it to us in exchange for a new bit - subject to current new bit stock levels & any postage costs.
It is the customer's responsibility to take care of the bit. Please make sure that the bit is kept in good condition throughout the trial period. The customer is also responsible that the bit is kept safe from theft and loss, as you cannot request a refund for the bit after the 30 day trial.
It is recommended that the bits are returned via a recorded & insured postal facility as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage in transit to returned items.
The 30 day trial period will start from the date of purchase & if the bit is unsuitable or you would like to request an exchange for a new bit the item must be back here with us within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase maximum.
On receipt of a returned bit we will refund you the price paid minus a variable hire charge for returned bits depending on the bit purchased. The charge will be specified within the items description.
Should you want to return the bit to us please make sure that you clean the bit thoroughly. Please clean the bit with warm water only to remove any residue. We will thoroughly clean and disinfect all bits returned to us to kill any germs & bacteria. We also request that you thoroughly clean & disinfect the bit yourself again on receipt as a double precaution as we cannot be held responsible for any diseases, infections, viruses, mouth sores, ulcers or any other medical condition that appears after trialling one of our bits.
When using the website, you are responsible for ensuring that any account details and passwords remain confidential and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account and password.
