How do I fit my Acavallo Gel Seat Saver to my Saddle
Shock absorbing comfort with a Drilex surface!
A revolutionary concept in seat saver design offering shock absorbency as well as comfort. The unique shock absorbing qualities of Acavallo’s therapeutic gel are well known. Their range of non slip gel pads have benefited horses for many years - now it's the turn of the rider!
The unique breathable gel construction supports the rider's upper body stabilising the seat bones and significantly reducing concussion in the lower back. The gel is covered with a breathable mesh material (Dri-Lex) that offers traction and a soft feel. Discrete and easy to fit to any saddle this Gel Seat Saver will help the rider feel comfortable whilst jumping & hacking, and improve the feel of any saddle.
Available in 10mm thickness in Black or Brown in Medium (16'-17') or Large (17.5'-18')
The pad is fitted using elasticated straps which fasten around the saddle & also two straps with clips which are placed under the saddle on each side and slot underneath the panels at either side of the gap down the underside - tuck the two plastic ends under each saddle panel. The design of the clip is that it lays flush and doesn't cause any bumps, but is still very secure - they don't clip together.
Due to the gel colouring process it may be advisable to clean the gel with warm water before initial use & to ensure the saddle is well oiled & not dry to avoid any colour transfer from the gel. In rare cases should this occur simply oil the saddle thoroughly to remove any marks over a 2 week period.
Care Guide
Hand wash with fairy liquid to recuperate tackiness.
Machine washable on normal 30 degree cycle.
Pull into correct shape whilst damp to maintain shape during drying.
Please ensure the washing machine drum is large enough to safely accommodate the pad size.
Please ensure all velcro is closed firmly prior to washing.
Air dry away from heat source (do not tumble).
