Part of the Platinum wooden tree family by Equipe. The Platinum Evolution Special is a close contact Jumping saddle with a traditional style wooden tree and the Equipe luxury calf covered “Special” leather.
The Equipe Platinum Range is again centred around the tree. The Platinum tree is a more traditional beechwood spring tree for riders looking for a more traditional saddle feel with a durable wooden tree. The Equipe Platinum Saddles are crafted using top class French and Italian hides. The calfskin is drum-tanned in pure aniline, with only vegetative materials being used in the tanning of the leather. The specially selected hides, which come from environmentally certified tanneries, combine with the meticulous handcrafting, to ensure that every Equipe saddle becomes a true “Made in Italy” masterpiece. To ensure that your Equipe saddle retains its beauty and elasticity, it must be regularly treated with correct leather care products that clean and moisturise the leather without damaging it. These simple procedures create a natural protective barrier, which helps to defend the hide from natural wearing agents such as light and heat that can cause premature ageing. The girth straps on the Equipe saddles are made from a special leather type that does not require the use of any oil or oil-based products.

Please note this saddle is an ex demonstrator model from our fitting stock. It comes with saddle cover & manufacturers warranty. This saddle has been classed as A1 condition so will be as new with little signs of use. Further pictures of this item can be made available on request.
We strongly recommend fitting these saddles under the guidance of an authorised Equipe trained saddle fitter.
When trying on your saddle please ensure you use a clean saddlecloth & do not remova any tags. It is not permitted for you to girth up or ride in the saddle if you intend to return it. Saddles which are in a condition other than that which they were sent cannot be returned.
